National Recycling Week campaign
The National Recycling Week campaign includes a comprehensive set of downloadable resources to communicate clear and effective messages about improving recycling habits and reducing the volume of waste sent to landfill. Our collection of resources provides practical tips, strategies, and essential information to empower your community to take action and make a positive impact on the environment.
As part of the GREAT Sorts campaign, our focus is on Recycling only these 5: paper, cardboard, cans (steel & aluminium), plastic (bottles and containers), and glass (bottles and jars).
These resources feature relatable scenarios with real-life examples of everyday recycling practices, making it easier for your community members to adopt sustainable behaviours. Whether it's sorting recyclables correctly, reducing contamination in the recycling bin, or supporting the circular economy, our campaign disrupts traditional thinking and encourages positive recycling habits. These resources are available for local governments, regional councils, and other stakeholders committed to recycling education, and can be downloaded below.
Some stakeholders may wish to co-brand assets or adapt elements of the campaign to align with their own recycling initiatives. Should any alterations of creative assets be required, please contact us via email at at info@wastesorted.wa.gov.au.
